forum trouble

The server has dropped dead several times today, & now something weird is going on...It's like a time warp, lol! one minute a thread will say it's had 3 views of it, then 10 secs later theres been 20 odd views of it!! When I posted the avast ving thread, he only had 3 to go to reach 3000 posts now he has 90 to go 15 minutes later!???? I don't get it..

Yep, I lost contact with IIS for 5 hours today. No other site, just IIS. It wouldn't open.

As far as Vings posts, his posts number has remained correct all day.
That one must be at your end John.

Yes, same here, but I figured it was the birthday quiz frenzy overloading the network.

The # of views for a particular thread is only updated once per hour (at about 55 minutes past the hour, if memory serves me correct).

That would explain sudden jumps in # of views, once an hour

Not sure about any outages.
