Is anyone going to the Victorian Astronomical Convention at Ballarat next weekend?

Gees Pat, I live a couple of k's from the Ballarat Observatory, and didn't even know it was happening.

But I have been a member there once back in the 80's, but that is an other story,

might just make the effort.

Hey Paddy,

I'm in Brisbane. Going to Melb the week after I would have made the visit longer if I could convince "She who has no Astronomical Interest" to go.
Instead we attend the Lions vs Richmond AFL match at the MCG a week later.

The single main reason for the trek to where "Brass Monkeys" are extinct is for my Lady to see her first match at the Melb Cricket Ground. MCG.

And of-course to partake in some of the aged grape nectar just to the north. ie Rutherglen.

Maybe another time, Paddy

It seems to have been poorly promoted - I just got an email from Bendigo astro soc. yesterday. I've booked in for the Saturday. Hope to see you there.
