AVI/MPEG Program

I want to create two avi/mpeg files out of one. Would someone know of a program that would help me in this venture.?? I want to make a VCD with the file but i need to chop the file in half as it it to big in size by it's self..

VirtualDub will do it.

Just open the first avi, and then append the second one, and you can save it as a single one.
