Supernova in NGC 4088

A bright Supernova has been discovered in NGC 4088 in Ursa Major,at mag 13.5 it is the brightest discovered this year.
It only gets about 12degs above my horizon, but people further north should have no trouble
The Supernova is quite prominent as can be seen from this image

Thanks Ron, it transits at 22:20 in Sydney, less than 6 deg above the horizon, 11 deg up here.

I observed Supernova 2009dd in Ngc 4088 tonight the seeing and transparency was quite poor as there was quite a lot of moisture in the atmosphere and some lightening out west.
I was able to get a glimpse of the supernova in moments of steady seeing.
At only twelve degrees above the horizon it was quite an effort to get down that low with the 16'.
I hope for better observations tomorrow
