11th April Jupiter

Hi all,

Captured Jupiter this morning in 5/10 conditions just before the cloud came in.

There is an interesting feature in the northern zone above the E.Q. belt, does anyone know how long this has been present for?

Another nice image Lester,

Looking forward to what you can produce with some better seeing, as others have already said, you really are producing some top stuff with your Jupiter images, well done.

Cheers
Trevor

Thanks Trevor.

After 3 years of imaging Jupiter from my farm, which is in the centre of lower Eyre Peninsula and surrounded by hills, the seeing usually was only 4/10 and the times it was 6 or better could be counted on one hand.

So the new location so far is producing much better atmospheric conditions.
