One for the Space Cadets

Hi All,
Just got my copy of the Helix.
Inside it had a link that may be of interest to the youngsters.
A model of the International Space Station.

There is also a paper model of the space shuttle floating around on the web (NASA site???). These are great as after the kids make them they get to chuck them. Some glide really well .

Who needs an excuse.
There's 3 of these paper models of NASA probes hanging from the ceiling in the Bunbury observatory that I made 6 years ago.

When you print them out it's best to use some heavy paper, 150 or 200GSM. Some sort of contact glue is better than the paper glue as well. Makes them much easier to build and they keep shape better.

There used to be quite a few on the NASA site. There was one that used a transparency sheet for the dish antenna, looks quite cool. Galileo I think.
