Triffid close up

Hi,

2nd result of today is the Triffid neb.
I'm quite surprised at the image scale here.
I really thought the DSI chip/ scope FL combo
wouldn't be this close in!

Seeing this morning was good but improved dramatically
around 4am onwards.

This also let me have another try at M16 again.

Niiiice! great resolution achieved in this image.. in the "mountain" as I call it, (7 o'clock from the central stars, half way to the edge of frame) you've captured two gas jets which are rather difficult to resolve most of the time...

I like it, A lot!

Mate I love the stuff you're coming up with on this 12" GSO of yours. Incredible resolution in all your photos. Inspirational!

Thanks fellas, yeah the GSOs are getting some bad press lately!

Best money I ever spent recently on this hobby.
I sincerely hope your purchase turns out a good one too Alex.

Nice shot Steve.

Yes that is way close in. That is closer than I used to get with an ST2000XM and an RCOS 12.5 inch.

Greg.
