Holidays

It's holiday time again and no work until the 4th of May. Both my wife and I are off at the same time so we can get to spend some quality time together.

Now what to do first???

There is a mile of "to do's" around the farm as usual
And then lots of observing/imaging I hope.

Well Ric,

isn't it obvious? You go on an astro camp for the first two weeks, and then go fishing at your favourite spot for the remaining two weeks. Wives love these things

Enjoy your time off however you spend it.

Cheers,

I'm the worlds worst fisherman Paul, I couldn't catch a cold.

I'll be having my own astro camp at home, nice no rush setups and all night to image with no worry about getting up for work.

Awwww sounds lovely Ric
Spend ya nights lying on a blanky staring up at the stars with a bottle of red and a box of chocolates and watch the sun come up how romantic is that then go to bed for the rest of the day to sleep of course
Oh maybe spend just one day doing ya chores around the farm
What ever ya do have fun
cheers

Thanks all, we went for a walk this evening to the local winery, only 4km up the road which is very handy and had a nice supper. It's funny how the walk back always seems three times longer.

I don't know about the blanket Jen, too many crawlies around but sitting in the comfy chairs on the balcony watching the sunset with a nice red is good value.

Cheers

Good for you Ric. Every hard worker deserves a holiday.

The thing wrong with holidays is that they are finite. Ya' gotta' go back to work when the holiday finishes.
Last month I spent 3 wks in the USA. When I arrived back it was awfully hard to get motivated to return to work. So Ric, make the most of it. Enjoy! I hope you don't find it too hard when its time to hit the coal face again.

Been having a good time so far Marty, finished off the mowing around the dam this morning and spooked a big brown in the reeds, not sure who jumped the highest but we both went in opposite directions.

Cheers
