23rd March Jupiter

Hi all,

Got this image of Jupiter yesterday morning in calm low humidity conditions just as the Sun was rising. In my hast I took the first 3 AVIs with the gain up too high.

Jupiter was at almost 50 degrees altitude.

That's a great image of the GRS, Lester. I haven't observed it yet this season.

Like Anthony said the other day, it does seem to be a bit paler this year.

I adjusted the levels, curves and saturation to give the below. Hope you don't mind.

Thanks Mike, yes that is an improvement. Can begin to see some more detail comming through.

From now on with Jupiter getting higher, hope we can all get some good ones.
