Minor planet 2 Pallas near Orion nebula

Hi all,

M.p.2 Pallas is currently moving through Orion, and will be passing between Kappa Orionis and M42 later this week. I saw a mention of this in Astronomy 2009, and thought I'd have a go at capturing it with my farly basic little set-up (tripod-mounted dSLR and 70-300mm lens). According to Stellarium, Pallas is currently mag 8.19, so it doesn't come accross very bright in this image, but it's definately there! (just to the left of the red "2"). I might try and put together an animation over the next few nights. Anyone else going to have a go at imaging this?

Cheers,
Stephen
