There was a story a year or two ago about a Chinese fraudster who lost his ill-gotten gains on a Nigerian Bank scam.

Similar, but not the same, is the story (or urban myth) from the 70s of thieves breaking into the garage of Mullumbimby Police station and stealing a car-load of dope plants the coppers had recently busted.

Now if they did'nt have the loot when caught did a robbery actually take place could they argue it wasn't them if no DNA is found and they can't be identified from video footage
