Possible to track/guide with Heq5Pro and no autoguider?

Was wondering if its possible to track and guide on an object with the heq5pro even if for a small period of time without an autoguider?

Would love to do some 30-60 seconds astrophotographs, thanks

as long as your polar alignment is accurate i think many wold have started by doing 30sec unguided exposures. What is the focal length of your scope - that will als have a bearing on the accuracy

mbaddah,
Sure is, Im able to regularly get 60secs shots with the heq5pro and my ed80 easily. Started off with 30 secs as danat said and moved on from there.
Im using WCS software to get polar alignment which is fabulous for a newbie like myself.
cheers

Hi mate

Just wondering what settings on the hand controller do you input to track for such a short period of time? I can't seem to find anything that would do it? Cheers.
