Lulin my first comet !!

Im not sure why they said on telly you could see this with the naked eye it was a bugger to find with a scope but I eventually got it.

saxon ed80 orion starshoot 2 guided with 10" meade 3.3FR
10 minute exposure

Well done Robbie. Something happened during saving for the web though?

How do you normally do that?

umm how do I normally do what?? it's the first time Ive posted a pic so what is wrong or right with the post?
the pic is viewable isnt it?

Oh yeh the pic viewing is fine, but there's some artifacts where teh colour meets the black - like there's too much compression when you saved it for jpeg.

What program do you use for resizing and saving it for the web?

ohyeah I see that Its basically straight out of maxim dl straight conversion from fits to jpeg then downloaded
my original seems ok but I'll work on it and repost it.
I was happiest with the nucleus, coma and colour but it does warrant more processing attention.
