Nicely done. Is that a column defect in the L Centauri image?

Gotta love Ha. That's beautiful Mike! It's incredible are crisp the pictures that your scope delivers are. Also the the dynamic range of greys in your picture is hige from the dark bok globules to the brightest parts without any hints of burn out. Master processing.

Thanks Tom

I wondered that originally too but if you look closely it isn't straight and it doesn't appear in the red green or blue or any of my other images, I don't mind sattelites so I left it in

Fantastic Mike. The dark bok gobules in the Lambda shot are incredibly contrasty and sharp.

Geez, gotta love AP scopes.

Cheers Fred, 30min of data only and such a widefield..?..must annoy the shight outta ya?

From memory I think had a dodgy sub but used it anyway cause I only had 20min without it..? Or it may have been when I was having flop problems with my AP flatenner - one of the three retaining screws in the Pentax fitting was missing and I never knew so the weight of the camera could tip it out considerably Since replacing the screw last year I have had no more problames

Well yeah, of course , but 30mins only? 10min wideish band Ha subs are fairly standard, your just lucky 3 got the result you did. Makes me wonder what 3nm would do, but then youd need longer than 10min (your FLI has pretty awefull QE) and more of them, lazy punk .

AND, given your name is in bold type on the FLI front page, youd think youd get the FLI link right on the image credits .

Fantastic images Mike...

For only 30mins data, the wide field lagoon is brilliant.. I'll be giving M8 a go as soon as I get some clear skies, although it wont quite be vista that yours is! I might fit the core into my field of view... I look forward to it.. thats for sure..

Well done mate!!

ps... Narrowfield rules

Yes about 30% only in Red 3nm huh? then I'd need very long subs

Ah yes, they changed their web site late last year and I haven't got around to changing the link under all my images ..must remember to change it with each image from now on, you do get redirected though
