Just a short message to the guys who are running The Snake Valley Camp in a few days.
It is a bit difficult to communicate, if you guys don't want to appear on IIS, and answer some of our questions.
BTW this dose not include Mill (Martin) at least he has us informed at the number of people that are coming.
Eric not really anything as I know what is happening, but if these two guys have a problem with IIS, that is fine.
But if they want a successful Star Party, be seen, and be heard, other wise there will be no future Parties.
Just trying to get these two out of the bush, so to speak.
Get over it guys and make this a great Astro Site.
I know who one of the people is that you mean, but I won't mention names here. But is anyone willing to hint at what went on that peeved these people such that they don't want to frequent this forum.
I know when I first joined the forum one of the gentlemen you speak of was a regular contributor. As a newbie way back then I always found his posts to be very concise, well written, informative and above all friendly.
Obviously something has upset him/them. Maybe one day he/they will come back and continue to share their knowledge and skills to encourage and nurture more people to this wonderful hobby.
Ah well still no answer from theses guys, I was just wondering if there would be guest speakers, maybe a swap and sell, and maybe a business flogging stuff. .
Hope to catch up with you there Leon! Not sure about speakers etc - maybe we could improvise? Always good fun, and I'm really looking forward to it after a last-minute bail-out in November!
