NGC 3717 and IC 2913

Hi,

this result is pretty noisy considering that
I normally use about 200 in a stack. This was only 38
useable frames. Gully breezes the last few nights have spoiled
an otherwise good few nights.

I have imaged this field for two successive nights.
At first I thought IC 2913 was maybe a comet!
My Cartes Du Ciel only has the NGC cataloge and Tycho 2 stars
loaded, so the second night (and some homework that should
have been done on the first night!), proved it was just
a faint mag 14 IC 2913
A comparison image of IC 2913 is also attached courtesy SkyFactory.org

NGC 3717 is listed as mag 12.6 in Burnhams.

Not bad work Steve...ic2913 looks to be an interesting target. Needs some more FL. Wasn't aware how close the pairing is. Thanks for sharing.
