Hi guys, well I'm back to annoy you all again,

after a great experience in Tassie.

I could probably go on for pages and pages of text but I will keep it short, other to say that we, Alice and I had a very enjoyable two weeks.
We arrived on the Spirit of Tasmania, with Car and Caravan, and dog,

well toy poodle, and stayed the night in Devonport, then headed down the East coast, through Beaconsfield, St Marys, Swansea right to the South Coast.
Rather than going up the middle of Tassie we decide to go cross country to the West coast through Queesnstown,

Zeehan, Rosebury, and up to Wynyard, then back to Devonport to catch the boat home.
Well I have driven some roads in my time, and I can say that the Great Ocean Road is a Sunday drive compared to the road from Queenstown to Wynyard.
I have never seen hills so long, steep, narrow, and twisting in my life,

and we crossed over them with caravan in tow, some times doing no more than 30 k's per hour, the smell of the brakes as we decended 4 kilometers of steep down grades was a killer.
But all in all, the car performed faultlessy, and we enjoyed every scary moment,

and it was raining, and blowing a gale I might add.
Anyway, as enjoyable as it was I have to say that the hightlight of our trip was to catch up with John (extreme) and Anna, we actually pulled into the same park, and were camped next to them.
That evening, John, Anna, myself and Alice, were Invited to Phils Place, (moderator) which I might add was only 2 minutes away from our camp site,

for a few drinks, and play some pool, and listen to some great 60's and 70's music, a fantastic night, we will talk about who won later
I gould go on for ever here, but will get some pics organised shortly, and post some more of our adventure down under, down under.

Leon
