fickle finger in Carina

Hello folks,
Well here's all I could get over the weekend...
I was actually intending to try this target at F11 but started out with the focal reducer (the F6.3 might make it a F/7 on my system?) and as soon as I removed the focal reducer and started on my focussing routine....sure enough....clouds came in big time...

Anyhow, not as nice as some of the other work posted here but I'm looking forward t o trying it at F11 to see what I can get out of it.

I include the original frame post stack, untouched to show the amount of crop.
16X 1minute shots at ISO 800, C14 at F7 on G11 autoguided

cheers
frank

That is very nice Frank! Actually not too far behind what Peter has posted!
Never get sick of good old Eta Carina!

Thanks Gary,
It's unfortunately not even in the same league as Peter's !

I'm still keen to see if I can image it at F11 someday, if the clouds ever clear up that is....

Thanks for the feedback
cheers

Great effort Frank. Pushing the C14 at F11 is worth a try none the less. Pick your night carefully.

Cool shot. I have no idea how hard this is to do but I'll have a go next week. Just got access to a C11 and that's on my list of things to try.
