Tarantula at f10, f6.3 and f3.3

As an exercise I wondered what the field of view looks like through an 8"SCT at f10 or with Meades f6.3 and f3.3 focal reducers.
The photo says it all.
Sorry about the noise and dynamic range but its only a test shot to see what the DSI II Pro images like with these configurations. Its a total of 10x15sec for each image with bad pixel map subtracted.

Is the first image without any reducer?

Hi Allan, that's a great comparison and it certainly shows the differences very clearly.

I've been experimenting between f/3.3 and f/5.0 as well. It's quite interesting to see the differences in detail. My next step is to step up to f/10.

I think the f3.3 looks sharpest .

F3 definitely get it for me Allan, Lots more detail and much smoother image all round.
