Orion Intelliscope object locator - anyone use one?

Hello everyone -

I recently brought my Orion XT8i with computer object locator from the US to where I now live in New Zealand. I've been having some troubles getting it to work, and I'd like to verify that there are no problems using it in the southern hemisphere. Back in the US I'd consistently get warp factors of less than 1, but here they're more like 40-50!

Here's a thread I started on the issue over at CN, but you guys would definitely be the experts here!

Many thanks,

-tim

Never mind. Orion has confirmed that it should work in either hemisphere.

So it's a problem in my setup or technique. Which is a good thing, actually!

I'll post my findings later.
