Coronado PST Ha scope

Hi All
I just been told that Meade have stopped production of the Coronado PST Ha scope because they are still having trouble with the new front element that replaced the previous ones that had rust problems?

Vars,
Don't know where you heard that story, but the blue front element of the PST has no energy rejection coatings.. it's just a AR coated doublet.
I've had a few PST's over the last couple of years and have experienced first hand the early problems with the "gold" objective as well as having great views and a lot of fun with the current PST's.
I'd be interested in hearing more....

I'd question where the info came from then!
There's nothing I've seen on the forums to indicate ANY problems with the current PST's.
They are still good value for money.

I was surprised when he told me but he has never been wrong before
So I think it could be true

I have had mine for a couple of years now and have encountered no problems what so ever (except there is not enough focus adjustment). I am not sure about the accuracy of your source.
