Wilsons Prom Fire

It would be clear skies tonight, instead the skies are full of smoke due to the huge superblaze caused by lightning at Wilsons Prom, i was over at port albert today and looking over toward the Prom the mountains looked more like volcanoes, the plumes of smoke looked monsteorous, what a shame for such a pristine untouched part of Victoria being brought to ashes...

yeah we got smoke haze in Melb again today. I can see quite a few stars out tonight, but not as many as usual, and the air smells a bit acrid. I would otherwise be outside tonight, but we'll have to wait until the winds turn westerly. The sky was milky white today with poor visibility and by the afternoon a greyish "mist" seemed to decend upon Melbourne.
