Infra red to ultra violet

A wonderful display of all the visible colours in between in the visible spectrum. Isn't it wonderful what is contained in white light?

This was coming through an open curtain, via the fishtank and into my kitchen.

Somehow, a camera doesn't quite do it justice, but I just had to try.

Beautiful! I really love refracted light... we have a multifacted crystal that catches the morning light for a spectacular show. My kids call it the rainbow fish.

Very nice spectrum Barry.
It is fascinating to consider that here you have imaged the electromagnet spectrum from 400 to 700 nm, that is such an incredibly small section.
Wonder what the world would look like if our eyes were able to detect radiation over a broader range of wavelengths. It seems that we see so little of our surroundings.

Regards
Trevor

Now if only we could attach a fish tank to our scopes....we'd have a nice relaxing view to contemplate whilst we imaged spectra!!!

Nice shots

Bit of Dark Side of the Moon happening there.

Nicely executed.
