I doubt such a person exists in the phone book but a visit to your local Astronomical Society will usually find an answer to your questions or some onsite help from someone more knowledgeable than yourself.

What exactly do you mean by an astro technician.
Do you want someone to explain the science of astronomy.
Then
Join an Astronomical society and attend their meetings.
Ask specific questions on this forum

Do you need optical repairs
Do you need electronic repairs
Then
These can be organised through your astronomical supplier
Also ask specific questions on this forum.

Again the local astro society, or joining in on local observing groups, will achieve this.

If you specifically want someone to come out to your house, then you'd have to find someone at an astro group or similar who is happy to help.

thats all i need to know,ie: Thier Is No Such Thing as a paid person to come along and fix /teach/guide and say thats $50.00 see you later like a computer repair man/plumber/electrician.
(not having any transport means clubs/venues dont exist locally)the local astro supplier is really not into home service /call out, as ive stated before.

That's not entirely true, (I've just seen this thread). I have a small side business doing these sorts of things (apart from electrical repairs and warranty type work which I won't touch) particularly for schools/teachers and small private groups. It's not lucrative by a long shot but it helps to get the observatory built. For instance I have two science teachers coming over tomorrow night for a few hours of basic photoshop work for DSLR images and in a couple of weeks I'm going to give a run through on Astrometry and Photometry for them.
