I've been tricked!!

The weather gods have done it again, lol...Normally I will step outside & see if it's worth setting up a scope or 2 just before dusk, which I did tonight..Yuk! wind blowing with nice cloud cover & rain imminent! Stepped outside just now & it's perfectly clear, no wind with good seeing conditions!! Of course, I've been here before......Just as your finishing setting up, in comes the clouds again. I think it's another trick just to see me frantically setup.. I'm not fallin' for it! hear me weather gods?? (quite often I'll tell them I won't bother setting up....but when their not looking...I will, just to fool them! hehehe! SHHH!)

Yeah...That's another thing...It takes 4 hrs min for the newt to cool before I'll even bother to put eye to EP...I might just sneak the refractor out...I'm not going to use it of course!? I'll just set it up & look at it!

Mate you've got to look at fans for cool down! 4 hours wait is just to long to wait , but then again good reason to use an 80ED while you wait .

You know whats worse than setting up for nothing?

Forgoing a dark sky trip because your fears about the weather were wrong and you hear about what a great night you missed

Turn it on!? Hmmm that's an option! I never thought of that! I was wondering what that button that said on/off was for?

4 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I turn my little fan on and in 5 minutes it's ready! Mine is the one that come with the scope. It is just a computer fan fitted to the back end but boy it works great.

DOB: Definately Optically Brilliant

no no no no no.

buy a new fan, take out the blades, put the mice in and get them to run around the cage, their little tails wagging will create an air flow!
