I have.

That's reproduction by budding. Wish my scope would start to grow one.

I think if you can afford one of those, you could probably afford your own postage fleet

Biggest I've seen in person was a 25" at a star party. I'm too big of a klutz to get that high up on a ladder in the dark .
That and the line was a mile long to look through it

Biggest I've actually looked through was an 18". Was some pretty impressive views and fortunately, the ladder wasn't quite as tall as the 25"

look at the naglers, and the finderscope looks like Scotts 10". Bl..dy old bugger with retirement funds. they think they are set, imagine at their age climbing a really tall ladder at night, with age blindness...........not that I am jealous, I don't suffer from scope envy

Nahhh! It's gotta be trick photography. Probably only a 114mm truss Tasco on a Hanimex base with 'Realistic' GoTo gizmo.

Yep, that's what it is!

The scope in the original image is a 30". The EQ platform tracks for about 50 minutes. The view I had of the Veil thru a pair of Denk II's with Pan 24's was really something.

I'm also interested in a 14" or 16" GSO. I love my 8" and would keep it for grab-n-go. Just at times and at star parties I'd like a bit more aperture. A GSO-priced 16" would be awesome.
