First pic

Hi Guys,

This is my First shot using my ED80 and my 300D, only 30 seconds long but still quite proud of it.

Hey nice shot Peter.

Go for it, you've got a nice combination of scope and camera.

What object is it?

[edit] on 2nd look, it looks a bit like M17 the swan. Is it?

Well done Peter.

Its a bit of a shock to the system that first shots isn't it....I cant believe what you can get out of a DSLR with just 30 seconds.

Your hooked now and good luck for future pics.

The reason for only a 30 sec. exposure, was my laptop ran out of power so in turn I couldnt use the software to make a longer exposure.

A 30 sec. challenge I think would be a great idea.
