Australian Water Dragon

Was at Roma St Parklands looking for macro opportunities and this fellow held his head up for me. Was surprised at the colour on his chest. He's an Australian Water Dragon.

Fantastic shot of what appears to be a very co-operative subject!

We spot Water Dragon very regularly here right next to the Ku-ring-gai Chase National
Park in the northern part of Sydney and at any one time there is often one
up in our roof. However, the vivid coloring of the one in your shot
appears more striking than the ones we normally see down here. Beautiful and thanks
for sharing!

Best Regards

Gary

Thanks guys. They do keep these as pets, though this one was definitely in the wild.
