Cheers all - perhaps "nailed" was an unfortunate choice of words for such a family-friendly forum

Good one Doug!
Yes it needs heaps of exposure and clear skies to get this one!
Love the wideview one as well!
My attempt was nearly 2 hours worth and still not real deep..
cheers Gary

Very Nice Doug,
I like the framing and the laser sighted bullet through her frontal lobe.
Now, its definitely the Witches head but are you definitely sure that's at 280mm? You know I am a stickler for details and you dont want to get it wrong........again!
Lovely shot.
Cheers
Chris

The framing looks great. It's just such a huge object. Colors looking good already. More data will certainly make it a ripper in the final. Well done.

Nice one Doug, it has heaps of potential if you can add more exposure time.
Nice and sharp !...... that's expected from this lens.
Well done mate !

Nailed well and truly Doug!
Love this object, but she is elusive and needs lots of time to get her.
Very nice indeed.
All the best

Excellent Doug. Indeed, this is a tough target at the best of times. You've done well to bring out the details. I recall having to do heavy masking to manage brightness of the area - in particular from the star Rigel.
