Decided to post this pic of Eta from last week ..... hope you like it ! It may get reprocessed another day but this is it for now.
It's 54mins in total with same gear as last post of NGC2070 .... taken the same night.

The colour scheme is a little more different than usual but I really like it.
It has a quality I can't describe but I very much enjoy.

Nice one Steve !

Thanks Andrew, I didn't do anything particularly different in processing and those are the colours that came through. I've seen HST pics that have lots of different colours in Eta as well so who knows what's right ay !

As I say, I didn't do anything unusual, the colours are just there.

Thanks Jen, I like the colours too and yes there is a lot going on in the Eta region, it's a huge area of nebulosity that's very clearly visible in my dark skies.

Thanks for that Peter, it at least confirms that I didn't do anything wrong in my processing ... it could almost be a rotated crop of your image ... albeit not as good quality wise ... ... but that makes me a bit happier with the result.

Great colors and details. Tiny bit over processed to my taste but a great capture. I like soft stars but that's me. Top shot.

Cheers Marc ... it would be good if I could get a UV/IR filter setup ... other than that I am pretty happy with my first couple of images from here ... vastly different to shooting from the city ... I still can't believe my eyes when I look at the skies
