NGC 3293&3324 in Carina

Taken with the SN10 and HDR process used. Exposures from 7s to 4 min.

Full res image 3.3MB

When this was ( 23/12/08) taken, seeing and transparency good.

NGC 3324 is also called the Gabriela Mistral nebula. She is a Nobel Prize winner for poetry from Chile. There are many largetelescopes where she was born and raised.

Ah, nice Bert when you flick back and forth one can certainly see the image you have displayed, and I must not forget, top shot mate.

Nice images, Bert. Carina is one of the beautiful sections of the Milky Way. NGC 3293 is one of my all time favourite clusters, you've captured it well. Thanks for sharing. Russ

Excellent Bert. An educational image for me. I knew little of her, other than there was a nebula in her name! Lovely images to boot. Well done.

Here is a better version done with the new version of EasyHDR.

Full res 5.3MB

The new version has more control over content of the final image. I have not got all the nuances yet but a lot of practice will help.
