140H grader John we were cleaning out drains after rain to allow water to run off the road.

It's not bogged but this is what happens when the pin comes out from the top link of the post driver.

What a predicament you got yourself in there Ron,Was there a road there in the first place ? How were the mosquito,s in the jungle.

Kev, it was just a track to a jungle Dropping Zone (DZ), only one way in and out.
Loaded the truck with the stuff we had received by parachute, Rain came , track turned to a quagmire
It took two heavy recovery vehicles and 100meters of cable to drag me out.
I don't have much trouble with mossies they don't seem to like me that much

Been there, done that (in the 1970's). Thankfully not doing it anymore ... I hope!

(Pix taken at Chobham Common nr. London, and in River Thames after a lunchtime booze at Chiswick Green (the tide beat us to dry land).
