William Optics Megrez 88FD, 6 Months Old - Final Offer

As I am always playing with different and new gear, this one will no longer get used as it is too similar to other OTA's I have and doesn't get used. The OTA is 6 Months Old and is 'as new' condition.

It would be best but it does image ok without it, I have not got or tried the flatner for it. I guess it would also depend on the size of the CCD chip you would be using if you require it or not.

Dave, I know I'm pretty blind and old, but i can't see the scope on Andrews site, let alone the 1600.00 price tag, please point me in the right direction

I can sell the finder scope holder for the listed price and throw in the OTA and other extra stuff listed for free!

I was also looking for a second base for ages for these so I could share the 1 finder with my two WO scopes. I had to buy the lot in the end as WO would not supply half only!

heh.. I just need a finder on my imaging setup.. hunting for targets if goto misses can be a real pain in the butt without a finder... oh well.. Looks like I'll have to shell out for a new one..

didnt mention if the dielectric diagonal is included or not as i was told it came with the scope. is this the case or?

This scope never came with a diagonal (none of my Megrez to date had them) and this sale also does not include one.

Sorry, the Diagonal in that post actually was bundled with my FLT132. I sold that diagonal and went 1/15 quartz.

For all the PMer's the unit is still available. The $1100+postage price is firm.
It can be collected from me if you live in Melbourne. Postage estimate is about $50 to Aus major cities including registered & insurance.
