Skywatcher HEQ5Pro mount for sale.
Purchased April 2008 so still under warranty. I believe TASCO Australia gives these mounts a 5 year warranty.
This mount has been used to carry an 8" DOB with a heavy guide scope on top and has most recently been carrying an 8" vixen and guide scope side by side. It has worked fine carrying these loads but balance is important with up to 17Kgs on top
To be sure on operational quality, I have just replaced the R/A motor assembly complete with a new standard one so the mount comes with a spare R/A motor which has been modified with thrust bearings. The modified motor was working fine for me but I replaced it anyway and have tested it under load with the new motor to be sure.
Looking for $1050 + post.
