A couple from today.

I've take the day off today as i've come down with a horrible cold/flu, After a few hours in the house, I started to go stir crazy.. So I went for a walk.. Trusty 350D + 70-200 F/4L in hand!

Took quite a few shots around the local parkland, however these two stood out to me..

Cheers for looking
Alex.

Nice actions shots.

Got to love the lizard lifestyle; chilling on rocks, occasionally darting between vantage points

Hope you get better!

Thanks guys... Seems the old 350D still has life in it yet...

Still... with my parents going to Singapore in March, I'll be getting a new body! Still tossing up over the awesomeness of a 5D Mk2 or a 50D.. Frame rate vs full frame/hdvideo.. (I really need frame rate for my wildlife photography... but for my landscape stuff, full frame + my 16-35 F/2.8 would be awesome!

I like 'em Alex.

I'm also in the middle of deciding on a DSLR purchase.

Am leaning quite heavily toward a 40D at the moment. The price is very tempting.

I know a 50D etc would be an improvement, but I think the 40D will do nicely for my entry point into 'proper' digital astrophotography, and it will serve me well for terrestrial stuff

Thanks everyone..

Matt, the 40D is a great camera, especially at the current price.. And as a starter cam into deep sky photography, it will be fantastic.

Im leaning towards the 50D or 5D mk2 depending on what I can get it for in singapore March next year... Making decisions on something as expensive as a camera or a new telescope can be difficult. Mainly because you dont want to start thinking in a months time... "Gee I wish I had have gone with something else..."

Alex.
