My son reckons the composite image didn't look right. He prefer the single one. What do you think??

wow thats a brilliant shot given the daring and guts to take that photo!!! I chickened out tonight when the shelf was almost upon me (i posted that one in the terestrial photos section)

I like them both too - but if I was forced to pick, I'd pick the composite; it looks more dramatic, but the composition (if that's the word) is better too. I think, anyway.

Thanks everyone for looking.
I am very glad that you enjoy them as much as I do. Amazingly the rain wasn't that heavy during the peak of the storm and the wind was blowing the favourable way. I have the backyard security door open and camera on tripod under the eaves. It did not get wet at all. I must have taken at least 40 shots ranging from 10 to 30 sec each hoping that a bright one will strike within the frame when the shutter was open. I got two,feeling lucky
