I love my job sometimes

Hi all,

I flew up to do some optic fibre work recently to a
remote site for the day.
I have done this a few times now, it's a great opportunity
to sit in the #2 seat when the chance comes up

1. Taxiing Parafield
2. & 3. On our way
4. downwind leg arrival at site.
5. Landed, Nth Gammon ranges in background.
6. Taxiing past my ride home, Citation Jet.
7. Climbing out, Citation...got to 27,000ft in what felt
like 5 minutes

8. Base leg arrival back at Parafield.

Fantastic shots Steve – thanks for sharing them. I just love the contrast between the “old fashioned” looking circular gauges, flip switches, rotary switches and the modern rectangular, multi-function LCD displays in the instrument console!

Cheers

Amazing shots Steve - please post more next time you're out and about!!

Looks like your ride out was no Tiger Moth either - looks like a King Air maybe from the cockpit layout? (from many wasted hours touring Oz in Flight Sim...!!)

Rob,

Yes, it is a Beech King-Air B200.
The last few trips up were in a different King-Air but unfortunately
that recently met with some grief

The plane I went up on is a charter job.
