A big front just hit us this morning. We thought we were going to lose the car-port at one stage. Gale-force winds big time. Still going on now, & it's now raining in bucket loads..

Oh hell...Just watching the news, fair bit of damage around my area & in Adelaide...Apparently that front was nothing, the worst is to hit here shortly....batten down the hatches you guys in Adelaide! I'm off to move my cars from under the carport.

Yeah bit windy here now. Rain is like pins when it hits your eye's, been out filming the tree's etc..... lots of birds can't fly in the wind so they go with it, great ready for more birds you guys in the east. Few rumbles of thunder and bit of lightning around too, not much though.

Well, were all still alive here lol. Everythings ok. Not sure if the rope saved the carport or not but after tying it up like this, it was only swaying 3-4" in the wind rather than 1 foot!

Pics as promised Houghy..

good to see you are with and not in with rob in NZ, having got a cheap ride with that wind up your behind!

not that visiting rob is bad, just 30,000 ft without a plane is rather exciting!
