Am I going over to the dark side?

Just thought I'd share this with everyone, just to show that I have no prejudices. In the past to weeks I've had 3 different groups of people ask me what sort of telescope they should buy. And based on their needs I've recommended 8" - 10" dobs I must be getting brainwashed hanging around here I was even thinking just tonight that a 12" would complete my quiver nicely

Yep! Even I feel like I have a dob on one shoulder, & an EQ on the other at times....The dob keeps whispering "come on...you know you want me " "resist, resist!" says EQ!

I was noticing today that Andrews have a very well priced ($1200) 8" SCT on what looks like a good Tripod....any thoughts on that one ?
