More website upgrades (Chat Room and Public Photo Gallery)

Hi everyone, I have been at it again and have made a few more changes to my website. http://www.darkskyau.com.

The chat room is up and going well with quite a few venturing in for a chat of an eevening now.
I have also opened up my photo gallery to allow others to post images in their own albums within the gallery. To use this feature you will however have to register to post on the site. This is done by clicking on the @ symbol on the Photo Gallery menu then follow the directions to register.

At the moment while space and bandwidth are not a concern I am allowing a maximum of 100MB of disk space with a maximum image upload size of 3 MB which should be large enough to show off your skills.

I will endeavour to allow access to the site as quickly as possible.
I hope some of you find this of some use and I hope you enjoy the site.

Hi Doug

Can I persuade you to show members your website and examples of your work at the next ASAW meeting? Drop me an email when you have a moment.

Cheers Petra d.

G'Day Doug - a nice site you've built indeed. The only niggly I had with it was that I didn't get to know who you were until I went to the gallery and saw your name there. Maybe put it into the "About Me" page? You publicly declare it anyway, so I figure it'll only serve you well to do that.

Nice equipment too. I really like the look of your retractable pier. Is it rock-steady in the extended position? What type is it?

I run the M.A.S. (Macarthur Astronomical Society) website www.macastro.org.au so I'll put a link in to your site via the Amateur Astronomy links menu. We get thousands of page views, so it should hopefully promote your work.
