Storm Clouds

There was a severe storm warning for us this afternoon.
Right on time (who said BOM couldn't predict accurate weather), this Cell came over Mt Archer.
The view is from our front paddock.

look at the size of that shelf - there are hundreds of garages and kitchens around Australia that would be so jealous of that shelf. Hey JJJ your front shelf is tops or is that your from the top shelf

excellent shots JJJ

Best looking storm front I've seen for quite a while in QLD. Great shot Jeanette.

Hi Jeanette

Wow – that looks like a scene from one of those storm chaser documentaries – great photos. I hope you survived the downpour!

Cheers

Dennis

Here's a shot taken when the storm was right on top of us.
It was like night had fallen.
Note the last bit of clear sky to the west with a bright sunset shining through.

Did you get much out of it Jeanette? We got a good light show in Brisbane (from what little I saw in the city and on the bus) .

Should have entered image 2 into the Challenge this month... lot of wind moving a lot of water somewhere fast .
