Norah Head Lighthouse

The family and I went to Norah Head Lighthouse last weekend, and of course snapped a few pics. Was also able to visually see the "mirage" that Scott took a picture of in this thread, was pretty awesome.

Anyway here are the pics, they turned out ok - it's interesting to compare the first and the last shot to see how different lighting can really make a shot look so much better.

Good stuff Mike . It's amazing how much difference the light can make in how a photo turns out.

We should make this thread "post a pic of a lighthouse"; here's another. Cape Wickham lighthouse on King Island is the tallest lighthouse in the southern hemisphere. http://www.lighthouse.net.au/Lights/...%20Wickham.htm

Nice work ,amazing how colour changes and postional changes can change the feel of the same object.

ps:ive seen a pic of a light house on the English coast thats built on a tiny rocky outcrop surrounded by ocean and in this particular image nearly half the tower is engulfed in massive wave , amazing , i think the light house is called Bishops rock heres a pic
