Mark,

What is the F ratio? Looks like about 4.5.

Do you have an order of magnitude for $$ required?

The F-ratio is 4.8, Mark Suchting Optics, no need to tell you how superb they are!

As far as dollars go, Im not sure really. The mirror was $3500. So I would be looking for offers around this mark.

The pictures below dont show the moonlite focuser or the Kendrick dew remover system fully installed. Will get some updated pics soon.

I'd be VERY happy to buy this scope at that price, and I've got the funds sitting there, but I'm in Qld with no means of picking it up.

My girlfriend is actually IN Adelaide currently, but is flying home Tuesday next week, and I think this is a bit big for "hand luggage".

Any good suggestions?

Ummm... well there is a place called Pack and send, where you take them your fragile goods and they package them up for you and send them off, however it isnt cheap, I remember getting a 6" reflector this way and it cost $150 for them to package it, but they do a very thorough job with delicate items.

I too may be interested! Adelaide is not undrivable from Canberra.

A few questions but.

At Zenith, what is the height of the eyepiece from the ground? (Is some sort of step required to stand on.)

What type of mirror cell is it using?

Clearly you dropped the price too fast then . With the current cost of importing a precision 16" mirror from the USA well over $5000 , this was the equivelent of throwing an Obsession clone 'scope in for nothing. Someones 'Xmas' has come early !.
