Life on a sunflower

Hi all,

Here are some images showing the range of insect life present on 1 sunflower plant in my garden. All images taken today using a Pentax K100D and 70-300mm telephoto/macro lens. The focus isnt great in some of them, but it shows nicely how the diversity is increasing as summer approaches!

Hope you like them.

Cheers,
Stephen

Wow not bad at all!

I especially like the 6th image (massive shadow-work on the leaf).

Thanks Ash, Ric and Andrew. It was quite an enjoyable little project, concentrating on just one plant. I'll try it again later in the summer.

Cheers,
Stephen
