Star?
Does anyone know the name of the bright star currently dominating the night sky?
(I'm observing it with my own eyes from the south/west of sydney, around 8:15pm - 16/10/08)

Star or Planet?
Hi Bustos,

If it is nearly straight up, it's Jupiter.

If it is in the west after sunset, it's Venus.
