Still playing around with HDR landscape

I have attached both the HDR image and the standard exposure...it was getting pretty dark as you can see from the zero gain image.

It's not one of my keepers so I didn't bother cropping the images due to the Polarizing filter being in the way at 10mm on the Canon 10-22mm.
3 exposures taken and combined in Photomatix.

I still like it but only due to the extra detail obtained through HDR.

it certainly is a nice result of extra detail when you look at the original

Tony,

Very pleasing to the eye! It's not overdone at all, very nice processing there. Were these taken at f/3.5 ISO100?

Thats hot mate! Love it!

Sky tones and grass seem very natural, the light glowing through the branches of the tree in the distance adds a nice flare to the image and the clouds look great..

9.5/10... (nobody's perfect )

And this is not a keeper?

Looks very well set out, and the colour looks very natural. Typical South Queensland sunset, where is it taken, Tony?

I like it. You've transformed a not-so-memorable shot into something
compelling to look at.

Tony,

I have to agree with firstlight, that that is a keeper!

There's something seemingly beautiful about this shot due to its simplicity.

I love it. Must try something like this!

Well done!

Regards,
Humayun

I like it. The HDR image has real depth and an atmosphere about it.

Very nice.

I dont think it thats good,

I only took 3 images once and spent no time on the image...like I said I just like extracting the extra detail through HDR that is not possible with only 1 image....should have take 10 exposures.

Ok I will keep it just for you guys.

Image was taken just around the corner from my place at Minnippi parklands at Tingalpa.

Thanks for the feedback guys but I think someone is paying you off for the kind words......lol

Clearly the HDR provides a great effect here, the sky is great. I reckon you need a bit more foreground interest though for extra impact, you know, like a pipeline or jetty

hahaha Robert, I think you and Mike have given us enough of the highly dramatic mangroves and Jetty's.
