I must get out and have a look (using an approved solar filter of course) at this most rare of events; the Sun seems to have been extraordinarily quiet of late.

I had a look at the Sun on Sunday morning and noticed an itsy bitsy little dot at about 1 o'clock, was that it? I thought it may have been bit of dust on the eyepiece.

I need a cloud filter to even see the big bright yellow thing , I've got buckley's chance of seeing a sun spot right now.

what sun it has been covered by big clouds more than a black dot well the next few days should be nice i might have a look
