Tonights Weather.

Still no first photons for the C11.. But at least I found something to do

First shot:
6:20pm.
20sec
ISO100
17mm F/4

Second shot
6:48pm.
13sec
ISO100
17mm F/7.1

I am pretty happy with these, they are straight out of the camera as far as colors are concerned, cropped and resized for web.. (the second shot looks AWESOME at full res! (IMHO )

hell yeah.. especially when you've opened the shutter, then a big fork slams down good rush..

Yesterday when I tried I had the timer going doing 30sec subs, and if there was a strike during the exposure it just kept exposing till the end of its duration... Tonight I did what you mentioned in your thread about ending the exposure straight after the strike... Definitly makes them stand out a lot more.

Cool shots Alex, I love the colours.

I got to try something like this myself.

Nice photos Alex. I was watching that storm on the BOM website and we were lucky to just be on the edge. A few drops of rain, some rumbling thunder and a few flashes and it was gone!

Cheers
