The Photo-happy Lizard...

I love it..

Tried a few angles/focal lengths on this guy.. He was more than happy for me to get REAL close... So close in fact that I was inside minimum focus of my 70-200 F/4 @ 70mm.

All shots @ F/4, ISO400. Varying F/L and shutter speed..

Wow! Looks like he was really enjoying basking in the sun. That lens looks great wide open. I hope to get one soon myself.

it is by far the sharpest bit of glass I've ever used... I can not fault it at all.

And yes... he was QUITE content to sit on the concrete sunning himself... Nothing I did changed his mind either.. Even a gentle stroke on his tail, he just tilted his head up and to the side so he could see what I was up to, and laid there....

Sat still for about 20 minutes and I got close to 100 photos, then He saw a grasshopper fly past and he disappeared into the bush to chase it..
