Perth Weather

Told you didn't I, as soon as one of us decides to buy or pick up a new piece of equipment the weather turns sour, totally cloudy compared to the clear skies last night and I'm picking up my new mount today.

Argh the cloudy night syndrome ...How to overcome

1...Cross fingers and hope.
2...If that dont work try drowning your sorrows.
3...If that dont work try #1 again.

Seriously tho I hope starry cloudless nights return soon so you can give the new mount a run...cheers Kev.

I was wondering who went and bought some new gear
Hopefully it may actually clear a little towards sunset. Black or White mount?
Did it come with Synscan ver. 3.23 ?

Does look nice; shame Im too tired to setup. Might rug up and watch some more of Carl Sagan - Cosmos. Looks like a cold front lingering off the coast which may ruin the week and weekend.

Friday fine clear sky but too late to set up, today slight breeze patchy cloud by mostly clear looks like it's going to be a fine night. Told the lovely wife no going out tonight or vistors if it's clear.

The BM's showing all clear on the radar fingers crossed a serious nights imaging will be done, another beautiful night in paradise.

I've spent the last 20 minutes just levellling the mount and getting it pointing South but I'm still not 100% happy. Won't put the scopes on until around 4:00 then spend time getting every thing balanced. I might even see if I can get the Autoguider set up.
